Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States... And for African Americans, the statistics are even more serious. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, African Americans are 30% more likely to die from heart disease than non-Hispanic whites. Nearly 48% of African American women and 44% of African American men have some form of heart disease. The numbers are staggering & that's why we're asking you to "invest in a life."
